The PSD parliamentary group, presented its new Web site this morning at the headquarters of the party in Funchal – Madeira island. The new portal allows citizens to take advantage of this medium to submit their suggestions and proposals.
“We want this digital platform to provide a way to interact with the outside world and also to publicize what we do. We want people to communicate with the parliamentary group and also present their opinions and suggestions. We have specially developed an area for this.” said Mrs Nivalda Goncalves, who is the portal coordinator.
At the address http://www.gp-psdmadeira.com/ the citizens of Madeira island have access to rich content, which includes data on all the members of the PSD, their proposals, a new blog (‘blog autonomy ‘), news, a wide array of documents, opinion articles and links to social network channels.
“This is a way to be closer to voters and also for us to communicate directly with each other and with people in general. Therefore, we highly value the new image and the new content that is available,” said Jaime Filipe Ramos, vice president of the parliamentary group PSD.
The new web site has been carefully developed by full service digital marketing, development and web design agency ‘Navega Bem’ based on Madeira island, Portugal.
Chris Szabo, MD and Creative Director of Navega Bem explained “we chose to develop the PSD site around the highly versatile Joomla CMS framework. This open source software solution is secure and utilizes the latest technology to ensure that the PSD site administrators will be able to easily manage the content of their website without any need at all to depend on us or any other third party to keep the site current. This is what Joomla CMS is all about.”
