Madeira Marlin award… now this smells fishy!
In the last 4 weeks the Joomla resources and extensions website ‘Best of Joomla‘ have chosen 4 websites for their prestigious ‘site of the day‘ award. The quite amazing thing is that all of those sites chosen have two things in common; they all belong to the Blandy Group ‘Palheiro Estate’ family of websites and they were all developed by Navega Bem – Web Design. Suspicious?
Chris Szabo, MD of Navega Bem was not available to comment on the awards. However, we do know that sites are chosen on the following criteria:
1. Design 40%
2. Navigation 20%
3. Content 20%
4. Graphics 15%
5. Personality 5%
The sites chosen over the last 4 week period are:
Palheiro Golf – Madeira island’s stunning golf course
Palheiro Estate – The experts for your permanent home or a holiday hideaway
Casa Velha – The luxury country house hotel
Madeira Marlin – M.Y. Balancal – Big Game Fishing
So what is going on here? Have these sites been chosen unfairly… or are they just amazingly good websites.
